 Rye and District Angling Society offers you a warm welcome and invites you to join our numbers for the coming season, but before we get started there are a few things you need to know :-

The official bit.

• Anglers who wish to fish Rye and District Angling Society waters must have both a valid society membership for the current season and a current Environmental Agency rod license

• Membership is at the discretion of the Committee

• We do not sell day tickets for any of our waters 

• Only members living within 15 miles of Rye are eligible for election to the Society Committee.

• Payment – We accept payment by credit or debit card

The bonus bit. 

•  Members of our Society also have automatic membership in the Rother Fisheries Association and are granted access to all RFA waters in the surrounding area. Bonus!

• By kind agreement with the owner of the Iden Wood Fishery, junior society members may fish at Iden Wood Fishery free of charge (juniors must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times). 

New membership is available from the 1st of May for the season starting June 1st 2024 to May 31st 2025 inclusive. The cost of an adult season ticket has been held this year at just £40

For Members over 65 on or before 1st June 2024 or who are registered disabled*, the cost of an adult season ticket is discounted from £40 to £25

* Possessing a current Disabled Environment Agency Licence at the time of joining.

Junior season tickets are available to those aged 16 or under on the 1st June 2024 for just £5 for the season. 

Juniors who wish to take part in organised Society events (such as matches, etc) must be            accompanied by a responsible adult at all times 

* Iden Wood Fishery

By kind agreement with the owner of the Iden Wood Fishery, junior society members may fish at Iden Wood Fishery free of charge (juniors must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times).
